বিশ্বের প্রথম পিয়ার-টু-পিয়ার সৌরবিদ্যুৎ কেনাবেচার নেটওয়ার্ক, ২০১৫ সাল থেকে বাংলাদেশের গ্রামাঞ্চলে চালু। SOLshare-এর স্মার্ট বাক্স (SOLbox) সৌর প্যানেলযুক্ত গ্রিড-বিচ্ছিন্ন বাড়িগুলোকে একটি স্থানীয় মাইক্রোগ্রিডে যুক্ত করে: যে পরিবারের বিদ্যুৎ উদ্বৃত্ত থাকে, তারা মোবাইল মানি (bKash) দিয়ে তা প্রতিবেশীদের কাছে বিক্রি করে। ১৫টির বেশি মাইক্রোগ্রিডে ২,০০০-এর বেশি বাড়ি। প্রতিষ্ঠাতা Sebastian Groh (জার্মান-বাংলাদেশি), পাশে আছে USAID, Grameen Shakti এবং ইমপ্যাক্ট বিনিয়োগকারীরা। ২০২০ সালের Zayed Sustainability Prize বিজয়ী। মূল ভাবনা: প্রতিটি পরিবারের জন্য পূর্ণাঙ্গ সৌরব্যবস্থার বদলে পরিবারগুলো বিদ্যুৎ ভাগাভাগি করে, ফলে অতি দরিদ্রদের কাছেও সৌরবিদ্যুৎ সাধ্যের মধ্যে আসে। এই মডেল এখন সাব-সাহারান আফ্রিকা ও দক্ষিণ-পূর্ব এশিয়ায় ছড়িয়ে দেওয়া হচ্ছে।
