## About Biofabricate

Founded by Suzanne Lee, former fashion designer and pioneer of biofabrication, Biofabricate is the world's leading summit and community for the science of growing materials from living organisms, bacteria, fungi, algae, yeast. The annual event connects biotech startups, luxury brands, investors and scientists around materials that are grown, not extracted. Lee coined the term 'biofabrication' and is author of the TED Talk 'Grow your own clothes'. Her lab Biocouture created the first bacterial cellulose garment. Advisory board includes fashion, biotech and sustainability leaders.
